It flies to international destinations in the Americas and Europe, and offers domestic and connecting flights within Canada. Its destination services offer a range of products for customers of outgoing tour operators: hospitality and representation, excursions, tours, sports and other activities, specialty services and others. Its retail distribution consists of providing advice to travelers and selling consumer products.

Nothing is set in stone as of yet. Air Canada is offering $13/share to acquire all of Transat shares. whether people are happy with that or not is another story. Remember there is a 30-day negotiation period, but when the deal has its final close is anyone's guess.
