RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:PERFECT - RCG - PLAN ?
Damian, You wrote about private placements at various share prices. My question was about share re-structuring. repeating the question. changing $10,000 to $10M adding one more question. === You have written frequently about share consolidation over the past couple of years. The tone is almost always seems to be negative. There is no other reason given other than share consolidation. I have a question for you. assume a generic company with stable business operations just the 10:1 change to share structure My question is ... if a shareholder has $10M in the stock at the close of the market on Friday and the company does a 10:1 consolidation of the shares over the weekend, how much will they have on Monday before the open ? I say $10M. how much will they have after a day, week or month of trading ? I say $10M. how would the answers change if the shareholder had bought the stock years ago for $20M or $5M ? I say the answers don't change. If it worth $10M on Friday the it is worth $10M on Monday despite the consolidation. The shareholder who bought at $20M is still underwater at $10M. The shareholder who bought at $5M is still sitting pretty at $10M. I am saying consolidation changes the price of the shares. It does not change the value of the shares. Hence $10M. duplicate post is because the first post lost its formatting.
