Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

The Deptees

The DepteesThe DEPTEE'S plan/plot may have been far more SINISTER in my view than just shorting massively. It is my belief that the scheme was to compel the company to undergo liquidation whereby as creditors would have been awarded nearly the whole of Aphria's extremely devalued assets, and of course, the rich assets' forceful devaluation would have been such that there was nothing left for the standard shareholders. I do not know what the strategy was, but the administration's silence and shareholder unfriendly manoeuvres during the last report's time, obviously helped to bring the price down 40% about (from $14+ to 8.60) in a very short time. Are we out of the woods yet? Everything suggests (to me at least) that we are. Early-mid-August is my bet??
