I recommend finding a mentor. I went to the bank knowing nothing with a list of questions for the financial advisor setting up my trading account. Guess i was interesting enough he asked me to hangout over brunh to discuss politics and life. Now we're good friends. I'm still a novice but having someone who is willing to share their knowledge/experience is invaluable. It will also save you from making independent rookie mistakes.
