Discovery is part of the Oxygen group of companies (Pure Gold, Liberty Gold, etc.) and they should have a better pipeline to financings.  Levon was going to struggle on its own and this brings them some stability.

I would think that Cordero will replace Puerto Rico as the new flagship property of the combined entity.  If any of the 3 drill-ready properties that Discovery has turn out to be anything special, the combined entity will be chock full of resources.  The more resources that get added makes this a more attractive buyout target long term.
