Tornado warning in effect for:

  • Windsor - Leamington - Essex County

At 3:22 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.

This dangerous thunderstorm is located 9 kilometres east of Colchester, moving east at 60 km/h.

Locations impacted include:
Point Pelee National Park and Elmdale.

This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.
