Green new deal momentum seems to be growing as the reality of the gig enconomy starts to bite economic indicators I maintain some faint hope that Sunny Ways is not so completely owned by his party's long term sponsors that he can't see the inevitable outcome of business as usual and decides to finally get on the green bandwagon. I'm pretty sure we're going to see some weak effort to do the same soon by the NDP in addition to the actual Greens, not sure what they are waiting for but Jagmeet has hinted and Trudeau will want to outflank him yet again. All of which is to say the Liberals may soon be forced to make an actual policy statement which improves our short term (until the election) outlook here.
