RE:RE:Odds we get more gold below original FDV than already mined?Geodan,
I my previous post, the "dip angle" of 30 degrees was measured from the vertical axis, going down 25m and horizontal by 15m ( toward the south). So, the dip angle measured from the horizontal would be 60 degrees? Note: Hole AZ15-013 seems to be located midway on the hypotenuse of that right triangle with FDV location at the top (Level 15) and the 1 June 2019 location at the bottom (level 16). The hypotenuse, as indicated by @bewhere, has the length of 29m. Let's say that this is the length of the quartz vein that continues running down from level 15 to level 16 (and I am assuming that this one is seen in Figure 1 of the June 5 2019 NR for the sake of doing some math)
The math:
0.5m x 0.15m x 29m x 2.8 = 6.09 tonnes x 13% grade by wt = 0.79 tonnes Aux 1000 x 32.2 = 25492 oz = 25000 oz approximately. Call it 20,000 oz. It would be something like FDV living room.
Please check my math for any fatal errors.
Cheers,

- @bewhere had some calculation showing a right triangle with a depth of 25m, dip of 15m and hypotehenuse of 29m. This would be consistent with your dip angle of ~30 degrees. If you look at Fig 3 of the NR, hole AZ15-013 (1402gpt over 0.5m) seems to be located at the half way mark between FDV and the 1 June discovery (grade of FDV: 5000gpt, grade of 1 June discovery: 129,000gpt..= 13% gold by weight). Would it be possible for you to have a sketch showing the 16 level development ramp (coming from the left side of the page toward the underneath of HDV area) and the 2 cuts where they found the 987 oz. As I recall, somebody (could be you or Mikey?) had some hand drawing of the HDV living room off a ramp. It would appear that hole #013 only had a glancing strike of a Au-bearing Quartz vein. The new area is just 14.5m along the right triagle hypothenuse. This is shown to be at the edge of the sediment layer.
- I would expect more surprise around the FDV, but just wait until they anounce something for the Western Front, around hole WFN-029 (7621 gpt over 0.27m). I would expect a lot more firework display, since the shear zone interaction with the sediment layer looks quite "messy". In my opion, the messier the better for Au to puke out.

But they hit 13% gold ore body at that level almost immediately, and the sediment/shear intersection (what counts) is not vertical maybe 30 degrees. So a stope distance of 75 meters is possible upward, and quite possible the FDV goes below this gold strike (same as last time).
And again it was 13% gold. This is why said exceeded my expectations. My hope was 25 meters down, 7 meters were for sure and maybe 15 meters was likely. So add in strike length and seriously it is quite possible they will find more gold below the original FDV strike than what has been mined already. As is normalin high grade mining luck will be big factor. Today and in Sept we got a lot of luck. Hard to put odds on it, but will take wild stab at it.
That is 25% chance RNC will find more FDV gold in next 2 months than they found in the original strike that saved the company. 2019 can be wildly profitable. Remember Western Flanks has even richer drill hole that has not been mined yet. Yet no one knows what will happen, it is all odds and good odds for us.
