What's in the box? What's in the box?

What's in the box? What's in the box?So .. we're waiting to hear from a company that we know very little about and which we own 15% of - regarding their acquisition of producing oil and gas properties that are cash bearing. It is our intention to use the proceeds from these oil and gas fields to further our own projects. Question - aren't we buying 15% of a company and not just their oil and gas acquisitions? What if this company loses money? Are we on the hook? There's something unusual about this entire transaction?
