The scheme:
3. Sell some of your shares on the pop for a nice summer vacay on the backs of the gullible.
So, let's make a quick assessment of how much money the management and their buddies would have made today, according to your stories.
6.7 millions shares changed owners today at an average price of, let's say, .13. Now, if
ALL those trades were made by Tripp and co according to said nefarious plan, the result would have been $871 000 for these 'evil' people. That's best case scenario. Now, we all saw the trades today. They came from everywhere: TD, Desjardins, National Bank, Raymond James, name it. A lot of ordinary people must have sold. So let's pretend that %75 of that number is retail and %25 is the 'evil' team. That leaves $218K on the table, and I'm being generous. Now, how many are they in that team? They must be at least 5-6 people to coordinate such an elaborate scheme. Everyone must be in the know. So, $218K divided by... let's say 5= about $44 000.
So, now, after this scam, they surely won't show up at the AGM. They'll all have to take plane tickets to somewhere in South America or on an island in the pacific. Substract that from the $44 000. At the end, was it worth it?
The other simple plan for them would be to actually work hard to make this whole thing work and see Genenews succeed. That sounds crazy, I know, but they would probably make a little more than 44K.
