My guess is you are infuriated by the SP, management or a crazy stupid financing? Debs at 8.5%!!! Anyways, a great article that explains the reasons why Aleafia is down... AND may continue to stay down. Like others have stated, there is a management and execution problem. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/aleafia-health-aleaf-remains-show-145618484.html
That article is about 50% nonesense. Again, I fail to see what "execution problems" you were talking about. Getting a license is not a performance marker, as it's a bit random who they choose to process first. They did in fact do everything they could to make it happen faster and it happened faster. In terms of being able to sell on their business model? Yes that might be true, but to be honest every cannibis company has a very very simplistic business model, 1) produce cannabis, 2) sell it.
The article also kind of misses the point of the emblem acquisition. I wish they would stop touting the clinic model, because it's a bit outdated and was never emblem's strong suit either. Emblem's strong suit was branding, product development,
extraction facilities a boatload of sales channels through provincial supply agreements and partial ownership of prominent retailers like starbuds, F&F, the shoppers deal, that emblem by itself couldn't supply.
Basically aleafia bought 1) a sales license, 2) a huge amount of sales channels 3) a massive extraction facilitiy. In fact emblems production capacity (with the exception of the aphria supply deal) was negligible, and kind of shouldn't have been mentioned as a rationale for the acquisition. The clinics and other aspects are bells and whistles, and are in fact the only unproven but minimal part of the business model.
