About LeSpeculateurI guess everybody knows him by now but for those who don't, he's a known basher. Here are his usual tactics and strategies:
1-Appear friendly and positive when the stock (in this case GEN) goes well and when he has recently bought shares.
2-Try to befriend some of the most knowledgable users to get some validation and credibility.
3-Once the sp has risen to his desired level, he will sell and the flip flop his opinion to %100 negative views about the company. You will not read anything constructive in his comments when he is in this 'phase'. He will also use at least one other account to further his goal but probably more than one.
4-Once the sp has dropped enough, he will buy again and then restart the cycle.
You can check his posts history to see for yourself. Everything is there.
Now, the best way to deal with this individual would be to
not reply to his posts. I've been guilty of feeding the fire myself in the past but decided to change my ways. If we deprive him from his 'oxygen', he will go away. At least, that's what I'm aiming for.
I also encourage you to take a few minutes to write a complaint to Stockhouse. I'm not sure to which extent this will be useful but if we are many to do so, it might work. He is quite talented at what he does, sadly, so I encourage you to protect your investment. Let's cooperate on this. I will need your help.
