Moving on

Moving onWhile my preference was to keep holding Valener, the vote has decided and we sell to Noverco. It was a somewhat fair offer and we have not been abused by controlling shareholder in my opinion, so thanks for that. Will pay my taxes and move on. The required approbation from Vermont is scheduled after june, so expect the .30 dividend at the end of June.

I've used margin (until the buyout completes) to load up on Innergex which is my choice to replace Valener. They have similar large shareholders behind them, a good reputation, valuable income producing assets. Their policy is to dividend a large share of the free cash available, so they yield around 5% currently while still growing. They have a nice investor presentation from May that recap its story. Boralex is just as good but they keep more of the cash available to fund growth.
