Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Wow, seeing the direction T.WCP is heading has me worriedThis is nothing more than a repeat of 2014 to'16.With WCP theres nothing to worry about.I've been playing oilco's for over 20 yrs.Sure some fail,and I have been caught on some,but for the most part solid Canadian company's don't fail.The flip flopping on shows like on BNN,only project the 'flavour of the day's...rarely does anyone project the future.Especially if they run an investment co...it can come back to haunt them.
As for US fracking.. well typical American...run to where the money is.If some go bankrupt now..wait until oil drops lower.
Long term though oil will go back up..it always does and always will.Why you may ask?
Simple...no other commodity is more heavily traded ,and despite what tree huggers wish for...no other commodity is used more for manufacturing products than oil.
Just Google it...the uses oil is astounding....from tires to medicine.
