Share capital (continued) (b) Stock options (continued) All options are subject to vesting restrictions based on the Plan and at the discretion of the Board of Directors. Effective June 28, 2017, the Board of Directors adopted the following vesting restrictions on all new options granted: 25% to be vested immediately; An additional 37.5% to be vested on the first anniversary; and The remaining 37.5% to be vested on the second anniversary. The exercise price is the fair value of the Company’s common shares at the grant date. The maximum number of common shares to be issued under the Plan reserved for issuance as at March 31, 2019 was 16,004,739 (December 31, 2018 - 16,004,739). The maximum number of shares reserved for issuance to insiders may not exceed 10% of the outstanding shares issued. Under certain conditions, option holders may elect to exercise their stock options on a cashless basis.
