RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Trudeau and cabinet

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Trudeau and cabinetGoing from light to heavy is called refining - basically boiling it off until the only thing left is heavy oil components.
Upgrading means adding light petroleum components to make it flow through the processes better.
You have it backwards. Google is your friend.

mnztr wrote: It does not cost very much to go from heavy to light. Light to heavy requires an upgrader. So if you can get well priced light feedstock, your cost actually drops and your yields will rise. All you do is feed it in downstream of the upgrader (not quite so simple but not that hard either). Going from light to heavy, that requires huge $$.

Sadie222 wrote: I must be missing something. You expect someone to spend billions of dollars to convert a heavy oil plant to light oil, spend more money to upgrade heavy oil to light, then introduce more non-upgraded heavy oil into the light oil refinery’s supply lines? That makes sense to you?

mnztr wrote: Its much easier to convert a refinary from heavy to light then vice versa, So those refinaries can also deal with light crude and refine it for less. Just introduce the feedstock downstream of the upgrader,...

Sadie222 wrote: Fact is, heavy oil can and does compete. There are refineries designed specifically for it.

mnztr wrote: What Alberta gravytrain? Ontario and Quebec are doing much better now then when Alberta was booming. Emplloyment is great. Alberta is its typical bust cycle but blame US frackers for that and not Trudeau. Fact is Oil sands cannot compete with Shale oil.

Every canadian lemming who voted for this idiot because of his fathers name or his entitled fuffled hair , pretty boy looks was basically under a 60% iq . Every canadian who votes in october for this wealth destroying entitled idiot is promoting alberta seperation and countrywide division. I exclude quebec , who will always vote for one of their own. Those posters who advocate that quebec supports alerta and saskatchewan , either dont look at history or are outright liars who just want the alberta gravytrain to their province continued. They jail the mafia for corruption and extortion but these selfservers never implicate their own. I can only hope trudeau jr and his canada hating cabinet decide to emulate his commie fathers canoe trip to cuba . One piece of advise do it during hurricane season , this canada would be better off.
