RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:What's missing?
RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:What's missing?Geo... this was a totally normal halt. Absolutely nothing special or unique about it. Nh have halted this way many times over the years, as has every other company. Iiroc DID explain the halt: it was “at the request of the company, pending news.” Is that not clear enough? The translation would be, “we halted trading because the company asked us too, because they want to announce news”.
ive never seen an nr by a halted company (unless the halt is enforced by iiroc for compliance issues) that’s specifically mentioned “our stock was halted so we could tell you xxxxx...”. That’s not how it happens.
I laid out the process for you already;
- company requests halt
- iiroc halts the trading
- company releases their news
- iiroc announces when trading will resume
- trading resumes.
The only halts that ive seen without an nr before trading resumes, are circuit breaker halts, which are automatic technical exchange mechanisms.
Have fun,
