RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:What's missing?I appreciate you taking the time to explain the mechanics of halts.  I will always push a little on points that can make understanding investing easier for newcomers.  There are more and more complicated investment vehicles out there designed by beneficiaries of someone else's misunderstanding of their investments.  I have on many occasions written my concerns to IIROC and the CSE and have never received a reply from either of them.  Self administered investing is faced with an uneven playing field for a lot of reasons by investors versus brokerages like access to current short reports and insider buying and selling and corporate purchases.
I still choose to do my own due diligence and have done much better on my own than using financial advisors.
Years ago, my insurance company came out with plain english policys that were easy to understand by comparison to the small fine print legalese that others chose to stick with.
Clear and concise explanations by companies of events is paramount to trust by shareholders which gives me pause of thought of the style of reporting done by EAT.  I have mentioned before that they are reporting their imaginations as facts in carefully worded nrs and have my own opinion of why.
It is my nature to root for the underdogs and I try to do my part to educate and make my points in regards to rules and regulations that can stand improvement.  I am also the first one to admit that I don't know it all!  glta and dyodd
