Been following the Canadian legislatorsand they are bound and determined to protect the innocents and children with ridgid rules for advertising, labelling and appeal to kids. They also have some kinks in the hose in regards to maximum allowable product per package which seems to be 10 mg.
It looks like a six pack of beverages can only have a total of 10 mgs per package! From a shareholder point of view this might not be a bad idea for the inexperienced that are willing to try or change from alcohol.
Speaking of alcohol, somewhere, someday they are going to have to make alcohol conform to the same kind regulations or loosen up on the cannabinoid infused products like our Tinley. They do have some very restrictive rules on alcohol companies as to ads, commercials and the where and when they can run those ads but they need to keep in mind that thc, it seems, is the safer product and deserves a level playing field. It would be a shame to not be able to use that beautiful packaging for our ready to serve cocktails. I've seen the boxes in the licensed dispensaries in Canada and it is like going down the yellow aisle at the grocery store. Not much appeal to that style of packaging at all. It barely appeals to the people that are lining up to buy and use the products and easily confused with other manufacturers products which you may not desire.
There is still a little time for Canada to get something workable for all concerned. It looks like they threw the anchor out for a 60 day notice period of launching a cannabinoid product which is making Christmas look like the season for edibles/drinkables. Hari Krishna everybody, something to look forward to. glta and dyodd
