RE:RE:RE:RE:Interesting news out about Octobers bidding round
I hear your complaints, but the facts are as follows: 1. The company is profitable. There is income coming in, and although it's not comparable to a dividend, this stock is not like other "exploration" plays. There is revenue and so we are not having money sitting in a dead deal. 2. The process has still been much smoother than South American or Nigerian plays. Although slow, there's no sign of huge graft. The financials show that, and when you do the math, you see that it's hardball between Pemex and ROE, not siphoning funds or missing money. I've done my DD on the financials, and they are pretty on point. 3. There is no reason to continue expanding on the current contract and see returns go to the government, especially when without ROE the returns won't be nearly as much. I've never been so confident on a play as this one. That's why I've held for 3 years. I don't know why the pessimism is present on this board, other than to try and get people shaky on a sale. This stock is stabilizing fast, and even on the current contract there isnt any loss. That's why you see private buy-ins. Sorry to doubt your outlook, but I think your room and gloom tone may be due to self interest and not to positive spec.
