Uranium Companies Market Analysis
Uranium Companies Market AnalysisMany on this board including myself have criticized UEX management for not moving this company forward like " many of it's peers". But is that really what is happening....
On numerous other companies SH boards, you read the same type of complaining. But looking at a list of a number of these companies, they all peaked in Jan/Feb of 2017 and have been limping along ever since - this includes Cameco, Uranium Part., Nexgen, Denison, Fission, UEX, Goviex, Peninsula,Berkeley,Laramide,Mega, Bannerman and a number of others.
What does the January/February 2017 small (relatively) spike really mean ? My take is some of the heavies with big money looked at the Uranium sector, thought it was finally a good time and made a move and bought in - created the peak - made some money - realized it was premature and cashed out and then here we are back still limping along in mid June of 2019.
Some really BIG money sitting on the sidelines right now as we speak, like vultures perched way up above (but under the big wind turbines so they don't get blasted away (ha)) - probably laughing at all this retail board chatter as they drink $500 Scotch and decide when to pull some strings again. These guys made the real money in the 2005-2007 runup.
Fine the 232 is going to be a spike when it hits in the next 3 weeks - how big nobody knows but will be some U movement at most of the above companies probably another small spike then profits taken off the table again.
Final point is this is U deal is a herd and UEX is part of the herd. Management at UEX does not move the herd - the vultures move the herd. But UEX is a good part of the herd mind you and will be at the head of the pack for sure. Get the UEX U LBS above 100 Million as soon as possible should be a priority - 98.6 M just does not sound as nice.
Still trying to top off share count in the truck at many of these companies. Going to happen.
