Optimist

OptimistThey have not filed for bankruptcy! What they have filed is a notice that they intend to make a proposal under part 3 of the bankruptcy act. This basically means, they will propose to modify the arrangements with its creditors to pay them of in an acceptable manner, which is generally over a longer period of time. By filing this notice, it gives the company time-out from its creditors. I do not understand the reason behind this move. One reason could be to protect the company from aggressive creditors. However, I believe that this is for the long-term benefit of the company and its current shareholders. There is no point releasing the NR on the ECEC deal if this current move is to screw all shareholders in some way. The trading halt and the de-listing review is only natural events of this last move until the company can clarify. I have owned this stock for about 10 years and have accumulated a fair share over the years. We have never been closer to large scale production and a huge brake through with this NR about ECEC. I was about to double my position, I guess I have to wait until this hurdle is clarified and cleared.
