RE:Possible Link Between Canopy and Tinley Beverage? That's some practical thinking. Rapid expansion in the beverage biz has been done that way for ever. Tinley hasn't mentioned concentrated syrups but that is how it is done. There is still the problem of Cannabinoids crossing State lines and borders but the T27 syrup concentrate without the magic ingredient should move fairly freely. It is my understanding that there is still some agricultural hinderance to CBD coming into Canada which is why the Hemplify was on the list of not to Canada. The shippers that sent it didn't get the memo and of course some people snuck some across the border for personal use.
I mentioned before that Canopy will be looking for trialed and tested winning products and Tinley fits the bill. It seems that the reins are being loosened and Tinley's syrup and Canopy's CBD and THC make perfect sense and a fit. In addition, that extra capacity that our own facility has built into it could be utilized for some Canopy product which they are sure to have when Canopy can "touch" the products in the US. At bare minimum Tinley could use Canadian THC from Canopy for our own production. Canopy's products seem to be exportable with the right paperwork.
Legislation is getting sorted out slowly and the States is too big to ignore which is why Canopy is positioning itself to lead the way. The US isn't going to watch Canada eat their lunch and things can change very quickly with the stroke of a pen.
Imagining the future and working to make it happen is what leaders do and both these companies have good teams of people that can bring this home.
Functional beverages have a place in this whole picture and the competition knows it, which is why they are all stepping up with product ideas. Minimal sugar, minimal calories and a nice little buzz, or pain relief or a better sleep. Possibilities are endless. glta and dyodd
