RIPET is permitted for 1.35 million tons/year. Current plant capacity is 1.2 million. As a shared terminal, expansion could be difficult (in addition to any supply or logistic limitations).
Altagas has 70% of RIPET. Their partner Royal Vopak is looking at another project nearby IIRC, but I don’t remember the details.
