Patrick Hanna TVI CFO communicated the reason the math...does not add up.
"Our voting results are provided by Computershare who advised us that 19,990,057 votes were registered as “non-votes” with respect to the matter of appointment of directors. I am told that what this means is that a shareholder or broker provided voting instructions on such matters as the appointment of auditors but did not provide voting instruction on the matter of appointment of directors and, as such, votes related to these particular 19,990,057 shares were registered as non-votes in relation to the appointment of directors which differs from the “For” or “Withheld” category and are therefore not included in the percentage count."
Personally IMO it does not make sense to me why a shareholder or broker would only vote for Auditor and/or Stock Option Plan and not Directors or CEO.
