RE:Did anyone see this article?Crop loss due to contamination was the main reason for the 10,000sqft grow rooms if memory serves md, along with strain and grow cycle control....from the jump everyine is required to be gowned and masked in certain areas at certain stages of the process. Fowler with Dinafem et al have created a state of the art facility, producing the best quality herb at the lowest cost possible.
The quality is definately there and their net margins are already decent and will improve exponentially as volume produced and sold increases. FIRE is the creme de la creme of the industry already and this is just the beginning...they need to get the sales/ SP up but they also have to watch not to get spread out to thin to a point of where they lose control, with a lack qualified staff, cutting corners, etc. Craft quality of any goods can and will suffer if production runs away from the ability to maintain that level of quality, of which Fowler/ team are doing exceptionally well to date and will iron out any issues as they ramp up to full production of existing facility.
FIRE has no real competition at this point, and maybe ever, but need to get the sales up to potential in order to grow the company and to hone the skills/ operation necessary to maintain their standards and margins consistantly at full production and the reward for those that own will be second to none, JMHO....Opt

I think it is becoming quite apparent to everyone that growing cannabis at scale is not easy..... what is not being told to the public are the high levels of crop losses, infestations, mould/mildew almost every LP is dealing with. TBH one of the first things that drew me to supreme was quality cannabis at scale but also 7acres facility design. Not even being an expert in agriculture, it could quickly realize massive milllion square feet facilities run much higher risk and probably lower quality product,,,,,,and voila. Ikm by far not saying supreme is not affected but I believe they saw this coming and this why they perfected their grow, reduced risk with separate rooms, enhanced protocols for pest protection, focusing on stronger (resistant) genetics, and more hands on stage to keep a close eye. This article also proves, imo, why inventory levels are so high for some lp’s. Basically they can’t sell their cannabis as is because of poor quality or microbial counts. This the easy fall back is oils/extracts...but won’t make their products any better. Thought I would share, what do others see in this article?
