RE:RE:RE:RE:Every investor is underwater URlaughable, heating is one of the major costs when the ambient temps are cold; in the desert, cooling will be one of the major costs, because the ambient temps are ridiculously hot. Marj plants handle cold much better than they handle high heat.  They’ve already had to redesign for added chillers, at an additional $10 million cost. Those chillers will not be cheap to run. From experience, it’s easier to grow in a cold area than a hot one, because in the cold you can harvest the heat from the lights and use that to your benefit. In snn’s situation, they need to try to get rid of as much heat as possible. Not the best move building a glasshouse in the desert.
