RE:Chantrell

RE:ChantrellIf Chantrell wasn't going to counter, a person would be inclined to logically think that they would have already told Alexandria about their intention.  Seems pretty reasonable.  So maybe they have countered????   And alexandria is passing the revised offer to their financial people to peruse????  Anything is possible.  You never know.

What I can reasonably speculate is Chantrell should have expected a counter offer when they presented their initial low-ball bid.  And accordingly they should have had a viable plan B already in place that would just have to be tweeked to account for a competing bid.  Imo, it would be extraordinarily unprofessional if Chantrell were to come down to the wire with no viable "superior proposal".  So until I hear otherwise, I place about a 65% probability that Chantrell will come through with a counter.  But regardless, my thinking remains that one (or 2) of alexandria's neighbours will take over alexandria.

So we'll see what happens.  Glta.   Jmvho.
