In my mind I always knew that big US business wasn't going to let somebody else lead the pack. On the plus side, now Constellation can call in some political favours and speed up the process for total US rec legalization plus they have also positioned themselves to take the credit for Bruce's gameplan which has a timeline on it. Smart investors that follow the greenrush know that edibles and drinks are going to be where the money comes rolling in. That is big business's job to anticipate change and move towards it. Constellation did that with a huge cash outlay which effectively gave them control. It was and is good for shareholders. Beverages are going to be the bread and butter of the marijuana business and Constellation is beverages. Change could happen very quickly Stateside with the right amount of calling in favours. There is so much riding on beverages such as a less harmful high than alcohol beverages, less calories, less sugar plus the possibility of medicinal benefits for consumers. Big Alcohol knows that they will lose marketshare to cannabinoid beverages to a smarter, more liberal attitude consumer who have called out the soft drink market too.
It is what it is and the investment vehicle didn't crash, it is just taking a different route. If Constellation can make magic happen and make some positive bottomline sooner than Linton it will help to build a new base to the shareprice. When the US Feds make the necessary changes to quit being an obstacle to this new enterprise, we will see serious dollars rushing in and picking the best of the best. Canada's greenrush will seem small by comparison. glta and dyodd

The medical will be the big margin business. Every serious investors know this. Yes, the edibles will be popular but the margin will be far less in the long term. You will be able to buy a cannabis bar from dozen of companies until the weaker ones dissapear or are taken over.
