RE:News Coming ?That’s true in a way, but the volume doesn’t tell the story here IMHO. There is a big player that uses house 2, 7, and I believe also house 1 (TD, RBC and anonymous). They trade back and forth to themselves to generate volume and accumulate shares in companies, and can pretty much control the trading in some cases. Then when there is a big news release they buy everything, drive up the price, and (presumably) cash out and make money. There presence here is the reason I’m in EMH
- hoping to cash out when they run it up on news. If you look at the TMX money site, and scroll down to see the trades, you can see that almost all of the volume today had house 7 as the buyer and the seller.
