RE:Re stumpage fees.

RE:Re stumpage fees. We're pretty much on the same page.  I may be more critical of Left wing governments thats all.    As far as trump goes.  He is doing a great job for the US.   The economy is the strongest in the world in spite of the Democrats trying to disrupt or stop everything he does.

Loke Jim Pattison he did not get to be a multi Billionaire not understanding economics.   His style is different than previous leaders.  But that may be a good thing.   Obama was clueless and in debt when he became President.     His wife was his education tutor.   He also accomplished nothing while he a was President.   The only President in History who never got the GDP over 3% in a single year.   At the same time during his time i office ran up more American debt than all previous presidents before him combined.   There was 11 million more Americans on food stamps  when he left office than when he was elected in 08.

Thatis not happening under Trump  Unemployment levels for all ethinic groups and women in the USA are now at historical lows

We could use a few leaders in Canada who put Canada first like Trump does the USA.
Our sell to customers would be a lo more diversified than it is now where 80% of our GDP is dependent on sales into US market.

It allows the US to dictate the terms or starve us out in other areas.   And lumber is just one example.   Oil from the Tar sands is another. The US buys our oil for 13 to $17 per BBL less than Canada would receive exporting it offshore.  And both Horgan and the Greens are against expanding the pipeline to the already existing shipping dock.      And  Trudeau blocked shipping from the pre approved Northern Gateway pipeline to Kitimat.

Mining on average takes 18 year from mineral discovery to production strictly due to government interference and beurocracy. Less than a handfull of mines have been developed in BC after Dave Barret killed the industry decades ago.     Today you cannot even open a gravel pit with out a year or two of expensive studies

And people wonder why Canadians are heavily taxed.    It's because present politicians are business illiterates..
