A concernSomebody gave up today . Down on 170,000 shares . Can you blame them ? Basically , I used to consider Torstar to be in two parts . The first part was the buying of the paper and the daily printing and distribution of the paper . The second is the content . The content is no good without the paper being printed . They only have 15 or 20,000 on line subscribers . I, myself have zero interest in an online newspaper . If there is no newspaper , then I will get my news on TV and buy Sports Illustrated for my sports fix . My point is - What will Torstar do if Transcontinental Printing doesn't want to extend the current printing contract ? Transcontinental is a public company , accountable to their shareholders who have at least one vote . Who knows what their future interest will be in printing papers . Torstar reminds me of a ship in the ocean taking on water . They are pumping it out and telling everyone that everything is good . For Now ! Like all the changes on all the sports teams in Toronto , this team really needs changes .
