When Constellation got on board

When Constellation got on boardwith Canopy, the writing was on the wall.  Why would a big liquor dispensor jump on board a pot company when liquor and pot are clearly not allowed?  Liquor has been losing ground as consumers are looking for healthier alternatives and THC infused beverages are the answer of how to do that.  The law and policy makers are hell bent for election to save us from ourselves and evil pot and it will take a little time to bring their sentiment around to allowing the two to marry.  It could be a dangerous combination for the inexperienced to have thc infused alcoholic beverages because of the double whammy effect of loading up on more than one vice.  At present consumers that want the double whammy, do it on their own, at home or by stepping outside the watering hole for a toke and then back in to finish their beer.  Government policy makers are protecting the innocent and that is ok although I wonder how, when the bars start to serve thc infused they are going to be able to prevent the mixing of the two, alcohol and thc.
Constellation took the passenger seat, initially but had full intentions of taking the wheel because they own or will own the car.
The market is showing its displeasure for the loss of Bruce Linton but to think that Constellation can't provide a stellar leader to lead the company whose management might not be more inline with Constellation's goals of getting the cash flowing.
Linton had a vision and ran with it.  The Constellation deal was good for both companies and I'm sure Bruce is pained with the idea of "losing his baby" and probably a little bitter.  He didn't do anything wrong imo and left a very viable company in the hands of Constellation who have money and experience in mass international marketing and sales and certainly saw the writing on the wall that thc infused beverages are going to be a thing for reasons like healtier alternatives, less calories, less sugar, no hangover, not to mention that some consumers are getting pain relief and less social anxiety, which is a huge plus.  The old vice, alcohol, just carried a lot of baggage with it in those regards.
Another couple of quarters, or some firm movement on the US side to get the Feds on the same page as the individual States that are accepting and capitalizing on the marijuana movement and barring that just getting some good edibles and beverages out there will change the financial landscape and boost the shareprice.  Flippers need not apply, or weak hands because this will take a little more time.  California is still being dragged into the legalization process, screaming and fighting, coming up with more and more reasons to restrict thc despite what the people want.  The US still has bible parishes that don't even allow alcohol sales so it could take longer than investors expect.  glta and dyodd
