Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Earnings

RE:EarningsDid you not listen to what was said last quarter? We have already been told it will be similar to last quarter in terms of cannabis sales. So somewhere around 15 million from cannabis sales (which all the headlines will focus on) and ~100 million from CC Phama (which will be completely ignored like the last time when we dropped 15% in a day on record shattering revenue). I will assume there will be no more write downs but if there are we all know Aphria doesn't care about protecting retail investors so we might all be completely blindsided yet again. I've been in cash for a few months now and personally waiting until after next financials to enter. Canopy reports losses of 300+ million and dropped a few percent. Linton gets fired and it finishes green. Aphria only ever has overreaction to the downside and any single good news event sells off. Also, since Vic left the new management team has been very silent about the ECE and I'm assuming there is some reason for that. It was supposed to be done a while ago and I'm guessing it's hard to find enough experience for supercritical C02, ethanol extractions etc at such a large scale in LeamingHAM. The intial claim was about 1 billion dollars worth of oils at full capacity to be ready by June. Not something you would ever be silent about unless there is something wrong. Prof why don't you tell us? You seem to have the Aphria board AND Health Canada in your back pocket.
