Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

The new holders are two additional sites for Aurora Cannabis Enterprises (AB and BC), Prime Pot Inc. (NS), Hearst Organic Cannabis Products (ON), Apollo Green Inc. (ON), Tricho-Med Corporation (QC), and The Flowr Group Inc. (BC).

The additional licences have been granted to Emerald Health Therapeutics Canada Inc. in BC (cultivation and processing) and Medical Marihuana Group Corp. (processing and sale for medical purposes) in ON.

Today’s approvals add almost 1,000,000 square metres of capacity to Canada’s growing cannabis industry.

Nearly 11 million more square feet.  I there are more distribution points opening up.

Yup, and only the stong will survive. There will be a HUGE saturation of cannabis being produced a year from now in Canada. Extraction, oils, vapes, exports aside. Many companies will not be able to compete. Profits will be squeezed down, down, down as prices fall. If we are going to make some gains, they will have to be in this next year. Beyond that, you had better be holding one of the winners for the long term. (Aphria????).  Remember: There are only Coke and Pepsi.  You do not want to be holding RC Cola.
