Canadian lawmakers are desperate to have a device but a little due diligence and you will find that those devices can't separate thc ingestion from 6 weeks ago or today. The cost is jobs and licenses for being wrongly charged because of one of those devices and guaranteed to tie up the courts.
Cannabix is working on solving this problem with an accurate and fair device for recent use. They are inching closer to mineraturizing the mass spectrometre and getting it to work at roadside. The ms machine is "the" device that is used and accepted now, so it works! If they can make it work in roadside conditions and with a less scientific mind running it, then it will be happily adopted as the better device.
