The general public, media, and politicians are sooo wrong on Libra... Facebook is using “crypto currency” as marketing when they brand Libra as such. It’s literally a stable coin (tethered to a basket of global currencies) and it’s arguably not even annonimous / unrestrictive / decentralized. It is 99.9% equivalent to exchanging your fait currency for credits (.... Libra = A gift card). And now we have politicians and the media waiving their stupid un-informed arms crying out for “public protection”. Sheep.
