It would seem so at times. Whenever I see a name I don't recognize I begin by checking the date the person became a member. If it is within the last week, my first red flag goes up. If the user has been posting similar messages over a wide diversity of boards red flag number two goes up. Then, I set user on ignore.

It seems like Stockhouse should have a bot watching out for this kind of thing and cancelling these memberships. Clearly, it would be great if Stockhouse could detect these users earlier and shut them down.

Perhaps a better form of identity verifiection would help. I understand that some degree or anonymity on is acceptable when posting on a public bulletin board, but I am not sure that Stockhouse should not know who is actually posting. I would support that kiind of approach.
