RE:RE:Uranium prices further down
RE:RE:Uranium prices further downWhile painful, we still have some time to go before the U boat moves up. UEX is simply part of the big U boat - an important part but just a part. Roger and Co. say find another 50 Million LBS or more at Christie ( and they likely will......) but will not move the UEX needle much. Maybe at $ 0.10 or $ 0.20 per.
The big move is the bigger energy show. Ever see the 2 poor shmucks at the airport who wave the plane backing out with the orange battons.... Now it may be important, but not really in the big picture as to where the plane is going to fly to.
Another 90 days with this Nuclear working group - probably more. Why on earth would a Nuclear utility buyer not lock in on higher U prices right now. Give me 10 years at $ 62.50 right now. Just don't get it.
Maybe the price stays low for the next 5 years. Cigar Lake shuts down, Cameco out of business and many others and half the global Nuclear power plants go dark. Lights DO GO OUT as RR says. Is this a real possibility ?? In a simple answer, NO this is not going to happen even with another Fukushima AND Three Mile Island next week. Too many Nuclear power plants operating and under construction for this to happen. Period.
At about 185 Million U LBS per year purchased , the total global U market give or take is:
@ $ 32/LB is $ 6 Billion.
@ $ 44/LB is $ 8 Billion
@ $ 60/LB is $ 11 Billion
@ $ 100/LB is $ 18.5 Billion
I believe the current UEX price is extremely undervalued right now with the current big picture in mind. $ 0.17 with 100 Million LBS + of Uranium, Cobalt, Nickel etc. Crazy low. Could be a takeover target so keep the share price in the gutter. Maybe ?
What about CCJ the main UEX shareholder - nobody ever taks about them........ inside track maybe as they own 13 % + of the company ???...... Why would they want share price high ?
So put a " fair " number on the current UEX price right now - what is it ?? $ 0.30 maybe right now with U still in the dumps with Spot bumping along at $ 26/LB and LT at $ 32/LB
No reason UEX even with dilution since last spike is not eventually a market cap of at least a valuation of $ 760 Million for easy math. And that is without any Cobalt/Nickel LBS.
So who sells what # of shares as this climb happens over the next XX years. Who sells UEX at $ 0.40 per, $ 0.50 per, $ 0.60 per , $ 1.00 per, $ 1.25 per, $ 1.65 per as the frenzy takes place and your neighbour buys into the Uranium narrative.... Those that are patient at this ground level will be hansomely rewarded.
Nuts that the Uranium sector is limping in August of 2019. Just goes to show the "experts" know nothing about timing. Billionaires are circling like vultures to pluck the shares of retail folks who bail. Stay the course. Next events are post Labour Day . Just now hope flatline til 2020 when a bigger personal truck can be backed up - just sayin.
