RE:Anonymous trading explained by IIROC

RE:Anonymous trading explained by IIROCMost Canadians are probably not going to believe this; but Canada is light years ahead of all countries in terms of disclosure and enforcement of rules.

One example- Canada is one of the few countries that allows the broker number to be visible in a live book.

As an active attorney in the securities business for 23 years here in the states, I was amazed at the blatant criminality practiced here in the states. I delivered sworn testimony in three cases to the US atty for So DIst of NY.  Same question had same witness giving 3 different answers under oath in three different cases which involved the exact same issue. Solid solid proof of perjury. She took NO ACTION becuase the perjurer was the President of a VERY BIG brokerage firm whose name all of you know.

Hands down the SEC - each province in Canada has it's own SEC - that is the best in the world is BC SEC.  They actually read ALL of the NI 43-101s issued by firms domiciled in BC and they use geos and attorneys to evaluate them.  Have a problem take it to BC SEC they WILL NOT ignore you.
