Husky's downturn while partially due to the mismanagemnt and operations failure at some of their facilities was also driven by 5 years of external political mismanagement by the Albertan NDPs.

My bet on them is twofold;

(1) that they will be sucessfuly turnaround their plant startups and recent oil spills with minimal issues, and

(2) that the election of a concervative government 3 months ago will herald in an external favourable political climate for the next 4-5 years of operation - since they specify Alberta's quota system as the main cause for profit reduction YOY as we start seeing the new conservative govt raise quotas the effect of this extrnality on share price and the greater market sector should diminsh, or ideally reverse.
