Diageo keeps an eye on cannabis. Ivan Menezes said the company could not rule out following suit of Constellation Brands, depending on how the market develops for cannabis, which is legal in Canada and some US states.
“On cannabis we’re just tracking it, it’s at a very early stage,” said Menezes, who has been at Diageo since 1997. “We’re looking at the sector, it’s nascent and we just want to understand the consumer behaviour.”

A very rational perspective with speculation on who Tinley will partner with taking a back seat on the topic. https://www.scribd.com/document/406415931/The-Future-of-Cannabis-Consumption
A popular saying in Mexico is:

There's plenty of beverages made from plants etc that people drink daily that are just normal & you don't even consider.. Think how crazy the first person must have been when he was drinking out of a Cow's titty? Imagine how nutts people called these innovators, rofl!
If we're talking about "first time cannabis users especially" & they go into dispensaries & buy a product that either taste great or decent enough to consume daily, with less calories & sugar than the alcoholic counterpart, or even a much healtheir alternative to energy drinks, you can make a reasonable prediction where those consumers are going to shift.
