And swing for the fence is 5 to 8 mil on a duve drill or wells stuck behind pipe hoping for offtake.
Anyway, for method- banff/Exshaw often referred to as 'alberta bakken'. Depending on available infrastructure and how the tickle is done, economics make sense (if not too gassy).
I expect that if atu likes what they see in the test vertical (control) well they will risk a horizontal for a modest amount of capital. We'll see what mention is made in the next md&a.
side note....occurred to me that altura might make a bid for point loma's rex play next door to home.
That is a decent parcel but would mean working in the existing jv and that might not float the boat.
down the road,if atu is sniffing around gxo, the entice play makes sense.
