Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:Sunday reading

RE:RE:Sunday readingI would not read too much into the high $15 call option volume, gottahunch. We can't know when those options were bought, what the SP was at option purchase, and what the buyers intentions/hopes were. E.g., I hold some APH call and put options for Jan 2020, some calls at $18 made in Nov when I thought the stock was going to $30 within a year, others at $5 more  recently when I thought the floor was in. The former was an optimistic bet, the latter an attempt to make back losses during the SP debacle after Dec. Either the $15 call holders are recent VERY optimistic buyers, or they are long suffering holders from 6 months or more ago. Like me.
