No clue. Understand it needs light to activate it's properties.
I did take biology in HS, but back then we studied molecules, I think it had been figured out blood had different types...
Gene therapy, DNA, Cell therapies, etc. are way beyond my understanding, never mind PDTs.
I would expect that the next phase 1 trial (Likely for GBM) would need to investigate safety and tolerability with invasive application of TLD 1433 (IV or intratumoral injection). Activation could be via topical light application, deep brain aplication of light, or X-ray activation and any combination of the above.
My hope is that the team gets the ball rolling well into phase 2 of our current study before knocking on those doors. Once enrollement is going at >50% of the anticipated sites then they could start work on other indications and that would suit me fine.
