An excellent article in the FT about the 737-MAX

An excellent article in the FT about the 737-MAXThere is an excellent article in the Financial Times about the 737-MAX, entitled:

Boeing needs to come up with a Plan B for grounded Max jets.

see for the full article:

 https://www.ft.com/content/01164aa2-ae2b-11e9-b3e2-4fdf846f48f5

Remarkably the article suggests:

"If the current fleet of Max jets cannot be easily returned to passenger use, alternatives will need to be considered. Given the industry’s prior experience with the DC-10, which struggled to regain passenger confidence after a series of early safety issues, one option could be a conversion of the existing fleet to air freight. Establishing trust with a small group of professional freight pilots is likely to be far easier"
