I knew a woman who was 'Cured' , or so they thought, but was in remission for over 30 years with Melanoma, but it came back and finished her off in 14 months time, so even that one sample could not be called a CURE .
If patient 6 comes back clear after 1.5 years, then statistically we are onto something BIG , but not the C word just yet, or ever.

regardless of cancer type and outcome from treatment. Even people that are cured are known to have a much shorter life expectancy. In the neighborhood of 5 years less. Significant.
BUt I will go out on a very sturdy limb and say that TLD 1433 will show CR in a very large number of patients with NMIBC. And there may even be an interesting twist with immune response secondary to repeat dosing.
