Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

A Little Math

A Little MathLooks like Aphria will get a nice bounce tomorrow so I'm thinkig out loud here. If WEED is going down and APHA is going up, let's do the math.

If you sell a share of WEED and buy APHA, you would get about 6 shares of APHA. If APHA goes up a $1, you're up $6 on your WEED stock. Even more really, because WEED would drop even further making the switch even more attractive.

If APHA's bump is even half at .50, that's still a $3 bump on your money.

(posted on WEED too)
