Regarding HC and the license, yes, it takes time. Yes, they have to submit the package and have HC analyze. From my understanding, expansions go through a different process and it's quicker. Not to mention the greenhouse didn't just fall out of the sky yesterday. I assume EVE has created the package and is ready to submit it very very soon. Again, just speculation but the way they worded certain parts of todays NR leaves me believing great things are to come.

No, this is about 50K anually

• 120,000 sq.ft. original with 100,000 sq.ft. new flowering room
• Production Capacity: ~800 kg per month

EXPANSION • Estimated completion June 2019
• 780,000 sq.ft. expansion • Increases capacity to ~4,000 kg per month
• Construction cost: ~$32 million

COMBINED CAPACITY
• 1,000,000 sq. ft. total greenhouse space
• ~50,000 kg per year

The capacity was increase to about (~) 50k per year
~4,000K per month x 12 = about ~48K, so about ~50K per year

220,000 sq.ft. + 120,000 sq.ft. + 780,000 sq.ft. = 1,000,000 sq.ft. 

 

Oops, remove the 120,000 above, it is included in the 220,000 for 1,000,000 sq.ft.

I sent an email and I am waiting for their answer concerning the package. I prefer to be more conservative than to be too enthusiastic. There are always some unexpected problems and delay and HC is not very fast until now, though I expect a smaller delay since this is an extention. Eve is already experienced in sending their submission packages to HC unlike some companies that had to resubmit or was simply not accepted.
