Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Slow Bleed

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Slow BleedMy guess, and I am stealing from a DD1964 post yesterday, is the algorithms are in control here. Six million shares trades on the NYSE with a range of 5 cents.  I expect those are thousands of minute by minute trades making big institutions a lot of money.  Aphria situation is great fodder for this...a great run up on the heels of the SPY tanking.

I think this is not being nickel and dimed to death, rather pennied down.

Looking forward to seeing a trend reversal, but not desperate.  We all appreciate the Interim CEO and management came through in flying colors and this is a major positive in the long run. Now we just wait for the technical traders to start pushing it up one penny at a time.

Don't mind the move if That's the case (CPG is a big plus, look at why WEED got rid of Linton), but would like to see him step down as Chair of the board, if foe no other reason than optics.
quietobserver wrote: kingbear you don't think some of the shorts jumped back in after the 40% rise? You bet they did. They know, like you said this would come back down and consolidate or at least retrace after the huge run. We are down more % than anyone, almost the same -.45 as WEED  because of the shorts, otherwise our good news would have had us down the least. Announcing a partner and CEO is the only way to get them to buzz off in my opinion.
kingbear wrote: Shorts are not controlling the SP, the shorts are quite low on Aphria. It's simply consoliation after a 40% increase. Look at SPY and the broad markets...
greenup wrote: Shorts still control the sp, this thing is on hold until they cover. There is nothing aph can do beyond what was done last couple days.
kingbear wrote: Relax bro the stock is down 5% after a 40% move up. Weak hands or what?

fixed.  Instead, I stop by the garage and pump it up to about 35 pounds.  About two weeks later it is back down to 25 or so.  I wonder how long I will let this go on before I finally fix it once and for all.
